Dealer of the Quarter – Q3 2019

Company Name: INTINTS Window Tinting, Inc.

Owner: Matt Howard

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

INTINTS Window Tinting, Inc. has been selling and installing window film in Lexington, Kentucky and the surrounding area for almost 30 years.  Owner Matt Howard has a true family run business!  In addition to his wife Angie, Matt’s brother (Stephen) and father (John) work at INTINTS. Stephen and John have both been major assets to the business, from helping run the day to day operations at the shop, to doing auto and flat glass installs.

Matt has a unique background for a shop owner, including more than two decades with the United States Air Force and Kentucky Air National Guard. During times of deployment, Matt relied on his family to keep INTINTS up and running. After an especially difficult and long deployment, post 9/11, Matt and his family welcomed the support of Madico and the Sunscape program to help get their head back in the game, as well as help build up their customer base. Matt retired from the United States Air Force in 2011. Thank you for your service Matt!

With many opportunities for both residential and commercial installs, INTINTS has been very successful as a dealer for Madico Sunscape®. Notable projects include numerous historical buildings in Lexington, the University of Kentucky, and 100 Rite Aid Pharmacies throughout nearby states. Currently they are installing window film on numerous national chain stores, as well as working on other large projects in and around the Lexington and central KY area.

In addition to flat glass, INTINTS maintains a strong automotive film installation business. The shop has a good relationship with its neighbor, a major automotive dealer for VW, BMW and Honda. The dealership sends over 5-10 vehicles per week to have Madico auto film installed.

In 2009 Matt took part in a unique film installation adventure that brought him to Dongguan, China. He spent a couple of weeks working out of a glass manufacturing facility installing Madico 8-mil clear safety film on roughly 10,000 pieces of circular glass that had been cut on a water jet CNC machine. The circular glass pieces were used to make glass cones for the new City Center and Aria Hotel in Las Vegas. Who knew that window film installation skills could take you on such an adventure!

Thank you to Matt Howard and INTINTS for being a faithful Madico customer. It has been a pleasure working with you for all of these years!
