Madico®, Inc. Introduces the New Madico Experience

Company’s new programs, services, and initiatives designed to benefit window film dealers.

TAMPA BAY, Fla. – March 21, 2019 – Madico, Inc., one of the world’s leading manufacturers of materials-based solutions, introduces programs to put window film dealers first as part of the New Madico Experience, a revolutionary campaign featuring dealer support programs, recognition, a dealer portal, and educational initiatives to coincide with Madico’s unrivaled support.

With a new quarter-million square foot manufacturing facility, 100% company-owned U.S. distribution centers and investments in new equipment and technologies, Madico continues to roll out additional programs as part of its new experience with a host of new benefits and options to help grow and sustain window film dealers’ businesses.

The Madico Experience features a newly redesigned website dedicated to amplifying window film dealers’ success through programs designed to share industry knowledge, teach new sales strategies, and discover best practices for growth.

“The New Madico Experience will change the way our customers communicate and interact with us as a brand,” said Shawn Kitchell, President and CEO. “Our team is excited to offer dealer programs and new features that revitalize and enhance Madico’s focus on support and education to help dealers grow their own businesses. These new initiatives ensure we maintain our reputation as the window film manufacturer that dealers want to do business with.”

The newly developed Madico Dealer Portal provides dealers with access to Madico products and sales support while serving as a resource for current and prospective consumers. Existing dealers can learn more about new products and promotions and can look forward to a new e-commerce section of the site launching this summer. This reimagined infrastructure is focused on helping Madico customers enhance their business’s profitability.

Madico U, a new educational initiative, will be a cornerstone of The New Madico Experience. The program combines online and in-person learning through videos, tips, conferences, webinars and more. Tailor-made for window film dealers, Madico U offers training on product use and installation, industry certifications, and information on upcoming events. Madico U features more than 100 educational videos, articles and resources.

The New Madico Experience features dealer and consumer marketing – making it easy to download marketing materials, documents, forms, and digital assets to include on a dealer’s own website and marketing. Madico’s new Automotive Film Selector and Architectural Film Selector make it easy for consumers to select the features of window film that are most important to them, including energy savings, glare reduction and privacy, and receive detailed recommendations that they can easily print and take to a Madico window film dealer.

Madico’s dealer support programs, including the new Madico Choice program, reward dealers with benefits ranging from leads to co-op advertising, and special promotions.

Those Shades Look Good on You: Architectural Window Films

Industrial Print Magazine, a trade publication and website covering the ways digital printing influences manufacturing, interviewed our own Jim Black, Madico’s director of window film sales, for their article, “Those Shades Look Good on You: Architectural Window Films.” The article discusses the types of architectural window films, how they’re manufactured, and their many benefits in commercial settings, from enhancing a building’s décor to creating privacy, blocking harmful rays and glare from the sun, saving energy, and regulating temperature to increase comfort for a building’s occupants.

“Commercial buildings are now designed with daylighting in mind due to the fact that energy control window films can be applied, offering occupants the benefits of natural sunlight without the negative effects of heat and glare,” said Black, quoted in the article.

ProtectionPro by Madico® Screen Protection Compatible with Latest Ultrasonic In-screen Fingerprint Sensor Technology

Announcement coincides with Samsung’s Launch of new Galaxy S10 featuring in-screen fingerprint ID.

Tampa Bay, Fla. – Feb. 21, 2019 – Madico, Inc. one of the world’s leading manufacturers of materials-based solutions, announced today that ProtectionPro™ by Madico® Ultra and Matte flexible screen protection film is compatible with the latest ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor technology. This announcement was made in response to Samsung’s launch of its new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S10, on February 20. One of the hottest new features of the Galaxy S10 is the in-screen fingerprint ID used to unlock the device, eliminating the fingerprint sensor on the back. According to Android Central, while the in-screen fingerprint ID is an exciting upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy, it will not work with most tempered glass and rigid screen protectors but does work perfectly with flexible options such as ProtectionPro Ultra and Matte.

“Our retailers are thrilled that despite the many screen protectors in the market that are incompatible with this new generation of in-screen technology, ProtectionPro’s forward-looking technology will continue to be an incredible option for their millions of customers around the world,” said Brad Bacigalupi, Director of Global Business Development – ProtectionPro.

The new ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor utilized on the Galaxy S10 devices was developed by Qualcomm. According to Qualcomm, the ultrasonic variant does not compare the print against a two-dimensional pattern like traditional sensors. Instead, Qualcomm’s all-new 3D Sonic Sensor creates a three-dimensional mold of the fingertip by bouncing soundwaves off the skin through the display. This makes it far more accurate than optical sensors that compare the pattern of the fingerprint.

ProtectionPro Ultra and Matte screen protection designs are now available to retailers on the ProtectionPro app for all three of the Samsung Galaxy S10 models as well as for the new Huawei Mate 20 Pro featuring similar in-screen fingerprint technology.

“As a company we are committed to keeping pace with the latest advances in mobile in-screen technology,” said Bob Smar, Director of Diversified Business Sales. “We are continually evaluating the effectiveness and relevancy of our screen and body protection products as well as maintaining the latest database of device patterns for our on-demand device protection cutting systems.”

ProtectionPro by Madico, the world leader in on-demand mobile device protection, provides the most advanced touchscreen and body protection for all types of devices—from legacy to the newest releases through our cloud-based library of tens of thousands of digital designs. Learn more at
