Based in Washington, D.C., the AIA has been the leading professional membership association for licensed architects, emerging professionals, and allied partners since 1857. The organization strives to provide valued opportunities for AIA members to maximize their professional skills through effective learning partnerships with firms and continuing education providers.
The AIA website explains, “The AIA/Continuing Education System mission is to support members in mastering new knowledge and skills in order to meet the changing requirements of the profession and to responsibly meet the role society entrusts to architects. CES supports its continuing education mission through its Approved Provider Program, which consists of a network of AIA/CES Approved Providers. AIA/CES hopes to inspire and guide Approved Providers to consistently deliver quality education courses for architects.”
Madico Window Films has been an AIA Approved Provider since 2010 and has hosted numerous “lunch and learn” workshops with architecture firms across the United States. Our dedicated sales representatives work along with their dealers to set up these sessions in an effort to educate the community about the many benefits and uses of window film; generating new business for our dealers.
Architects who take our “Window Film Fundamentals” course earn 1 Learning Unit (LU) in the Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) category. A minimum of 12 LU’s in the HSW category is required of all AIA member architects and state required licensed architects each year.
If you are an architect and would like to learn more about our “Window Film Fundamentals” AIA Approved Course, please contact us at 888-887-2022. Madico dealers who are interested in hosting a course in their local area should contact their Madico Sales Representative.
