Out of the Darkness Walk in Support of Suicide Prevention

The Madico CSR Committee is proud to share that our team recently participated in the Out of the Darkness Walk supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). This powerful community event, held in St. Petersburg, brought together thousands of participants to raise awareness, offer hope, and fund vital mental health initiatives.

An incredible 21 Madico employees stepped up to take part—either by walking or donating—helping Madico raise $1,935 as part of Team Loving Alissa. Together, the team achieved a remarkable 6th place overall in fundraising, contributing to a record-breaking $146,027 total for the St. Petersburg Walk—far surpassing the $100,000 goal.

Madico’s participation reflects our ongoing commitment to compassion, community engagement, and support for causes that matter deeply to our employees and neighbors. We are so grateful to everyone who joined the walk, made a donation, or helped spread the message of hope. Your involvement truly made a difference.
