Madico develops advanced film, coating, lamination, and material solutions for aerospace, space, and satellite applications where performance cannot be compromised. From traditional aircraft interiors to next-generation space platforms, our materials are engineered to support durability, protection, safety, and long-term reliability in demanding environments.
With proven expertise in extreme-environment films, Madico serves as more than a film supplier. We work as a development and manufacturing partner, helping customers customize materials, maintain tight process control, and scale solutions for commercial aerospace, satellite, and space program needs.
Madico continues to support commercial aerospace applications, including aircraft interiors, business jets, and MRO programs. Our aerospace films are designed to be lightweight, durable, flame retardant, chemical resistant, moisture resistant and easy to clean, helping protect interior surfaces while extending service life and improving functionality.
As space and satellite programs expand, Madico’s coating, lamination, and materials science capabilities can support critical needs across LEO and GEO satellites, spacecraft subsystems, and advanced space platforms. These applications often require materials that can perform through radiation exposure, atomic oxygen, vacuum conditions, and extreme temperature cycling.
Madico specialty films and coatings can support a range of aerospace and space system applications, including:

A: Toll coating and contract coating are both services provided by Madico to apply specialized coatings to materials, but they differ primarily in terms of material supply and scope of service. In toll coating, the client supplies the raw materials, including both the substrates and coatings, and Madico applies the coatings using our own equipment and expertise, making it a cost-effective solution for clients who already have the necessary materials. Conversely, contract coating, Madico provides the coating materials, managing the entire process including research and development, quality control, and sometimes even packaging, to deliver a turnkey solution tailored to the client's specifications. Thus, contract coating offers a more comprehensive service package compared to the more narrowly focused toll coating.
